Today is a really special and important day...it is my Nanna's birthday! She's 77 today, I'd say it's old but if you think about it...it's not.
So you may be wondering why my nan being this age is important...well let me explain.
About 3 years ago she was diagnosed with cancer, I mean, we were sort of expecting it because this type of cancer runs down in our family. But it was horrible, the nurses had told mum that we wouldn't have her for much longer.
So we just cherished the time that she was here, which seemed to get longer and longer.
So 3 years down the line she's still here and she's made it to another birthday, and I can't explain how grateful I am for it.
She's been my family's hero and I love her so much. She's been through so much that I send loads of mind hugs, you can too if you really wanted!
