We're All Going on a Summer Holiday

Hey there! As you know I've been on holiday for the past week, I'll tell you a little secret. I got back yesterday and whereas, I should've posted yesterday I'm posting today because I'm more 'awake'.

I can't remember if I said where I went or not in the last post but I'll say it again anyway, I went to Walcott, Norfolk. It was a really good holiday, I went with my mum, dad, brother, granddad and aunt. So there was a lot of us!

Well not really only six but to some people that's a big number!
I thought I'd do a little summary of what we did each day and I have some pictures to put in too.

So here it is,
Saturday:

Well not a lot happened on Saturday since we travelled up that day, I went in the car with my aunt so the rest of my family went in my dad's car.
The journey, in total, took around 2 1/4 hours (2h 15mins) and my aunt and I got there first, never thought I'd say this but thanks to the trusty SatNav that took us around the traffic so we missed it.
We unpacked, settled, you know, the usual things one would do.
I don't have any pictures since we didn't do anything exciting or anything that was deemed photographical.

Sunday:

Sunday was much the same, we unpacked bought some food for the week, while it rained.
Although it did brighten up a bit in the afternoon so we all went to the beach, my brother got drenched as usual and hit a little girl with a spade, accidentally, while he was digging a hole.

Monday:

Monday we went to a dinosaur park, not my choice, and went on a deer safari trip and we were taken around all of the deer paddocks which was really exciting. They had different types of deer, they had Fallow deer, Muntjac deer and Red and Doe deer.
However, it may look sunny there but later on it was thunder storming and lightening. I got soaked! Here's the website: Dinosaur Adventure Park

Tuesday:

The weather was sort of the same on Tuesday as it was to Monday just a lot lighter. We all went to a wildlife park called Thrigby Wildlife Gardens.
There were Leopards, Red Pandas, Gibbons, Macaques, Snakes, Crocodiles, Alligators, Otters, Porcupines, Chipmunks, Mice, Owls, Cockatoos, Birds, Muntjacs, Babirusas, Tigers and Wild Cats.
I thought it was okay however, when I was looking round the monkeys three of the peed. Here is a link to their website for more details: Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens

Wednesday:

Wednesday we had a lazy day because my granddad was quite tired so we just stayed the house although, I did some drawing and writing things in a little den I'd found in the garden.
I know this picture isn't very good but behind that bush is a little tree cave type thing. But yeah that's all I did Wednesday.

Thursday:

Thursday we split up, the girls went to the Lavender Fields and the boys went on a train journey thing.
I managed to get a little tan on Thursday, it was very very hot and I was in the sun all day. I got a new notebook and a lavender plant for the garden.Unfortunately I left my phone at home and I couldn't take any pictures of the fields, very sorry on that one.

Friday:

We all went to this place called BeWILDerwood, here is a link to their website: BeWILDerwood
It was really fun, it's like a fairytale playground for little kids. Mum and I built a den, so did my dad and brother. Ours was the best!

And Saturday we travelled home again, which was stressful. There was a lot of traffic and I was stuck in the car with the rest of my family since my aunt had to go straight back home.

So that's just an insight as to what I did over the week, sorry if it bored you and sent you to sleep.

See ya later

Charlie :)

P.S. Apologies for the quality of the pictures, they were taken with my phone which isn't the best.
